Michael Holgate Design was founded in 1998 by a husband-and-wife team of passionate, local interior designers. Over the years, we’ve honed our expertise and built a reputation for delivering exceptional design work. Today, our studio has expanded its services beyond interior design to include Graphic Design and Fashion Accessory Design. This evolution has been fueled by a diverse, multi-cultural team of talented designers from all over the world, each bringing unique perspectives and creative solutions to our projects.

MICHAEL HOLGATE
Michael has worked in the interior design industry for over thirty years. He has knowledge of all finishes and extensive experience working with special glass installation, hand crafted Joinery, metalwork, tiling and paint effects.
Michael has come to specialize in soft furnishings, he prides himself on his meticulous measurement to ensure that all soft furnishings are in proportion and fit correctly, ensuring that all window treatments not only look beautiful but work properly for ease of operation.
BO CHAO
Bo started out as a designer, working alongside Pierre Cardin in the Chinese Fashion industry, she came to Australia in 1995 and soon after started working in the interior design industry.
Her work can be viewed at Como, Rippon Lea and Victorian Government House, she specialises in ornate period style soft furnishings and has a particular flair for combining fabric patterns of all colors to produce work of remarkable beauty.
